Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Control deck commanded by Saruman, the White Hand. The primary strategy focuses on controlling the board with efficient interaction while casting noncreature spells to amass a massive Orc Army token. Early turns establish mana acceleration to deploy Saruman ahead of curve on turn 3. From turn 4 onward, the deck chains cantrips, removal, and value spells, growing the Army into a lethal threat protected by ward {2}. Combat evasion lands like The Black Gate and Rogue's Passage ensure damage connects, while The Reaver Cleaver converts combat into overwhelming Treasure mana.
