Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos control and stax engine helmed by Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools. It converts Rograkh's zero-mana casting cost into immediate resource velocity through sacrifice rituals like Culling the Weak and Infernal Plunge, while feeding card draw via Tevesh Szat. The primary game plan seeks to establish early asymmetric resource denial using pieces like Contamination, Trinisphere, Blood Moon, and Smokestack, breaking parity through Tevesh's continuous Thrull token production. For its primary threat, the list utilizes Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast to polymorph Rograkh into the deck's only two creature payoffs: Sire of Insanity or Valgavoth, Terror Eater. Once opponents are stripped of cards and mana, the deck grinds out victory through evasive combat damage and attrition.
