Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, built to exploit her end-step proliferate as a force multiplier for a board of self-growing creatures. The plan is to deploy counter-synergy threats like Drana, Liberator of Malakir, Soul Swallower, Chasm Skulker, and Nadir Kraken, then let Atraxa's proliferate snowball every counter on the table each turn, eventually overwhelming opponents with huge evasive attackers. Secondary lines include Fight Rigging's hideaway for free spells once a 7-power creature exists, Marionette Apprentice's death-trigger drain, and Kheru Mind-Eater to play opponents' cards. The deck is a classic midrange value engine - no infinite combos, no tutors, no fast mana beyond Sol Ring - relying on incremental advantage and combat damage to close games. It has many independent counter engines, but is vulnerable to board wipes and lacks the consistency of a tutored game plan.
