Calix by Nafro

Format: Commander

Commander: Calix, Guided by Fate

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Selesnya enchantress/aura-voltron build led by Calix, Guided by Fate. The plan is to flood the board with enchantments and convert each one into cards (Sythis, Harvest's Hand, Mesa Enchantress, Setessan Champion, Enchantress's Presence), mana (Sanctum Weaver, Wild Growth, Utopia Sprawl), and raw size (Ethereal Armor, All That Glitters, Ancestral Mask). Calix is both the preferred aura host and a value engine: his constellation trigger grows a creature, and on combat damage he creates a token copy of a nonlegendary enchantment - copying Doubling Season, a pump aura, or an enchantress with Ondu Spiritdancer in play multiplies the whole board. Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice acts as a hidden commander, tutoring a new Aura every turn. The deck closes via commander damage from an enormous Calix, or the one-swing table kill of Super State, with Eldrazi Conscription as backup. Recursion from Brilliant Restoration, Valkyrie's Call, and Mantle of the Ancients lets it rebuild through wipes.
