Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Squall, SeeD Mercenary is an Orzhov value-beatdown commander who turns combat into a two-for-one recursion engine. The deck fills its graveyard with self-mill and discard, then suits Squall with equipment and unblockable effects, attacks alone to gain double strike, and recurs two permanents per hit. Secondary paths use aristocrat synergies (Zulaport Cutthroat, Viscera Seer) and Desecrated Tomb tokens to drain and grind. There is no hidden commander; Fang, Fearless l'Cie is a supporting legendary, but Vanille is absent. Though the deck can pivot to incremental drain, its primary win line is accumulating 21 commander damage on Squall while using his triggers to constantly rebuy removal, card draw, and protection pieces. The plan is resilient in long games but relatively slow, relying on repeated combat rather than an infinite combo.
