Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign to bypass mana costs on large odd-mana value spells. The early game focuses on deploying 2-3 CMC mana rocks and lands to cast Yennett on Turn 4. On Turn 5, Yennett attacks to trigger her ability, revealing the top card of the library. Using topdeck manipulation tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, Brainstorm, and Doom Whisperer, the deck ensures hits on high-impact bombs such as Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, and Toxrill, the Corrosive. Once deployed, these threats establish dominant board presence and asymmetric disruption. The deck closes the game through multi-turn combat damage, eliminating opponents sequentially over several attack steps. While the engine generates substantial tempo when Yennett connects, the deck lacks dedicated countermagic and protection spells, leaving Yennett vulnerable to targeted removal during her setup turn.
