Kaalia by user8840162

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast is the primary engine, cheating Angel/Demon/Dragon threats into play during combat. The deck's backup plan is a reanimator package (Entomb/Animate Dead) that restores the same threats and can set up Worldgorger Dragon mana loops. The true kill condition is the two-card drain of Sanguine Bond plus Exquisite Blood; tutors find both pieces, and any combat damage or life-gain trigger starts an infinite loop. A hidden meld pair, Gisela the Broken Blade and Bruna the Fading Light, can also assemble Brisela as a late soft-lock, and an Isochron Scepter/Final Fortune/Platinum Angel loop provides extra turns. The deck is a classic aggressive-midrange commander that can kill one opponent quickly with Master of Cruelties but needs the enchantment pair to close out a game cleanly.
