Henzie "Toolbox" Torre by Sereus

Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jund "Blitz" midrange strategy led by Henzie "Toolbox" Torre. The primary game plan is to accelerate Henzie onto the board to grant high-mana-value creatures Blitz, allowing the deck to cheat on mana, grant haste, and maintain card flow through death triggers. The deck leverages massive ETB and combat triggers from heavy hitters like Etali, Primal Conqueror, Archon of Cruelty, and Old Gnawbone to generate overwhelming board presence and mana. Victory is typically achieved through explosive combat phases, often augmented by extra combat effects like Aggravated Assault or Moraug, Fury of Akoum, or through direct life loss via Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. The deck excels at turning high-CMC creatures into immediate, cantripping threats, creating a relentless engine of value that punishes opponents for letting Henzie remain on the battlefield.
