Format: Commander

Commander: The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Emperor of Palamecia is a two-mana mana dork for noncreature spells and a transform engine; the deck is built entirely to flip him into The Lord Master of Hell and kill with Starfall. The front face's tap ability smooths early spellcasting, while its counter trigger is fed by the deck's many four-plus-mana instants, sorceries, and artifacts. The back face is the actual win condition: attack with the Demon and deal X to each opponent, where X is the number of noncreature, nonland cards in the graveyard. Fiery Emancipation triples that damage. Secondary paths are Rise from the Tides zombie swarm and stolen creatures via Control Magic or Tractor Beam. There is no hidden commander; Harmonic Prodigy and Wizard's Staff are support pieces, not alternate commanders.
