Commander: Kotis, the Fangkeeper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kotis, the Fangkeeper leads a Sultai mutate-voltron deck that turns commander damage into free spells. You grow Kotis by mutating non-Human creatures on top of it, keeping its indestructible body while adding power, trample, and utility. Unblockable effects and pump spells let Kotis connect, exile the top X cards of the damaged player, and cast spells with mana value X or less for free. Clones, myriad, and trigger doublers multiply the theft. Secondary paths use the mutate pile itself as a large trampler and value from draw engines. Kotis is the engine; Brokkos and Otrimi act as hidden commanders that recur the mutate stack from the graveyard.
