Nick Fury Commander by user4647590

Format: Commander

Commander: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Nick Fury is a five-color cheat-and-tutor commander: once on the battlefield he can put a Hero, Equipment, or Vehicle from the top seven cards into play. This deck uses that ability to assemble a midrange Hero/artifact board, grow The Thing with combat damage, and use Captain America and Hawkeye's Bow for extra pings. Quicksilver, Brash Blur is the closest thing to a hidden commander because he starts in play, but the deck really functions around Nick's re-use through flicker effects. Secondary artifact synergies with Imskir and Bosh provide draw and direct damage, but the deck has no compact combo and wins by incremental combat.
