Deck overview

Tayam, Luminous Enigma drives a compact Abzan counter-stax engine. One-mana dorks and fast lands deploy Tayam early; every other creature enters with a vigilance counter, and Tayam converts those counters into mill-and-reanimate value. Stax pieces like Archon of Emeria, Deafening Silence, Drannith Magistrate, and Collector Ouphe restrict opponent speed, while tutors and recursion keep the engine flowing. The deck has no infinite combo; it wins by grinding card advantage, buying back small permanents, and finishing through a pumped, evasive board via Gavony Township, Felothar, and Abigale. No hidden commander-Tayam's activated ability is the heart of the list, and the DFC Brigid is only a utility mana engine.
