Deck overview

This Jund commander deck leverages Auntie Ool, Cursewretch to turn -1/-1 counters into an aggressive card advantage and life-drain engine. The deck utilizes dense low-mana ramp to deploy Auntie Ool on Turn 3 or 4, quickly triggering card draw by putting counters on friendly creatures with blight and persist mechanics. Simultaneously, placing counters on opposing creatures continuously drains life totals. As the game develops into Turns 5 and 6, the deck deploys potent synergy engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and All Will Be One to amass wide armies of deathtouch tokens while decimating opposing boards through wither and mass-shrink effects like Black Sun's Zenith and Soul Snuffers. Opponents are locked out of combat by Kulrath Knight and stripped of resources by Necroskitter, while cumulative noncombat drain and token swings eliminate the table by Turn 8.
