Deck overview

This is a thematic Rakdos Army deck built around Bolg of the North, sacrifice fodder, and repeated Goblin or Orc amass effects. Its strongest ordinary play is a turn-six-or-seven Bolg of the North that sacrifices a creature to remove a small opposing creature and create an Army from excess damage. The deck then grows that Army with cards such as March from the Black Gate, Dunland Crebain, and Book of Mazarbul. Pitiless Plunderer, Mahadi, Emporium Master, and Gorbag of Minas Morgul turn deaths or combat connections into mana and cards, but these engines are conditional and do not form an infinite loop. The deck has broad creature and permanent removal, yet little protection and no reliable tutor package. It can create a threatening combat board in a long game, especially with Orcish Siegemaster or The Great Goblin, but it does not ordinarily establish a must-answer state or finish all three opponents on a dependable clock.
