Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy 'cast from exile' engine commanded by Karolina Dean, Runaway. Karolina produces five colors of mana during every first main phase that can only be spent on spells from outside your hand. The list maximizes this mana velocity by running a dense suite of impulse draw spells, foretell cards, adventures, and exile-based engines. Payoffs like Keeper of Secrets, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Nico Minoru, Runaway, and Passionate Archaeologist convert every exile cast into direct damage, while token generators like The Lost and the Damned, Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, and Iraxxa, Empress of Mars build an evasive, scaling army. Supported by cost-reducers such as Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius and resilient standalone engines like Bonehoard Dracosaur and Prosper, Tome-Bound, the deck reliably establishes a dominant board by Turn 5 and closes the game through multi-target burn and combat damage by Turn 7.
