Deck overview

This Boros Voltron list pairs Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh with Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to create an explosive, low-mana equipment aggro engine. Rograkh enters on Turn 1 for zero mana with built-in first strike, menace, and trample. Ardenn enters on Turn 3 to bypass massive equip costs on cards like Colossus Hammer, Hulkbuster Armor, and Commander's Plate, attaching them for free at the start of combat. The deck backs up this aggressive clock with redundant equipment tutors, asymmetric combat pillowfort pieces like Silent Arbiter and Smoke, and an elite defensive suite featuring Robe of Stars, Clever Concealment, and a Sunforger instant toolbox. While sequential combat naturally gives the table response windows, damage multipliers like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and the infinite combat combo of Aggravated Assault with Sword of Feast and Famine provide alternate routes to close out the table rapidly.
