Commander: The Master, Multiplied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos token-permanence combat deck built around The Master, Multiplied. The commander's myriad attacks create token copies of himself, and his static abilities keep those tokens forever-legend rule does not apply to them, and triggered abilities cannot sacrifice or exile them. That same clause turns every "make a hasty copy, sacrifice at end of turn" effect in the 99 (Twinflame, Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Flameshadow Conjuring, Feldon of the Third Path, and friends) into permanent army-builders. The deck wins by flooding the board with sticky attackers, chaining extra combats off Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Port Razer, and Great Train Heist, and converting enters-the-battlefield floods into table-wide damage through Purphoros, God of the Forge, Terror of the Peaks, Impact Tremors, and Mirkwood Bats. Shredder, Shadow Master supplies a non-combat life-halving finish. The plan is linear, explosive once the commander sticks, and light on tutors.
