Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jund midrange and control deck centered on -1/-1 counter mechanics, token generation, and asymmetric board suppression. Commanded by The Reaper, King No More, the deck leverages engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician to convert counter placement into a continuous stream of deathtouch Snake and Insect tokens. It systematically locks opposing boards out of combat using Kulrath Knight and wipes opposing creatures cleanly with Maha, Its Feathers Night and wither effects. Card velocity is fueled by Generous Patron, The Scorpion God, and The One Ring, keeping resources high while eroding opponent life totals with Obelisk Spider, The Meathook Massacre, and All Will Be One. The deck closes games reliably by turn 7 through combined drain triggers and unblockable token swarms.
