elf sultai by user8374397

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf tribal deck is helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, whose first ability grants him every activated ability of Elf cards in the graveyard - turning him into a flexible toolbox that can tap for mana (Priest of Titania, Marwyn, the Nurturer), pump the team (Timberwatch Elf), or generate value depending on what has been milled. His second ability draws two cards whenever another legendary Elf enters, providing steady command-zone card advantage. The deck wins through a wide Elf board backed by lords and pump effects, Lathril, Blade of the Elves's activated ability (tap ten Elves to drain each opponent for 10), Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage drain, or the Devoted Druid + Flourishing Defenses infinite combo. Self-mill from Gorging Vulture and Trystan, Callous Cultivator stocks the graveyard to feed Thranduil's toolbox and the recursion suite.
