Deck overview

This deck is a themed Orzhov Lifegain and Aristocrats strategy centered on Sorin Planeswalkers and Vampire synergies. Led by Sorin of House Markov, the deck accelerates through an efficient early mana rock package to deploy the commander on Turn 2, transforming him by Turn 3 or 4 using early lifelink attacks, extort triggers, or Soul's Attendant. Once transformed into Sorin, Ravenous Neonate, the commander controls opposing utility creatures while ticking up loyalty with Food generation. The midgame develops an expansive planeswalker board state alongside lifegain payoffs like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Indulging Patrician. Strong asymmetric sweepers like Tragic Arrogance and massive life-swing spells like Blood Tribute and Sorin Markov break stalemates on Turn 6, smoothly converting dominant board control into a complete table elimination by Turn 8.
