Deck overview

This is a classic Izzet spellslinger/control deck built around Niv-Mizzet, Parun, the uncounterable dragon who serves as both the draw engine and the damage outlet. Every instant or sorcery cast draws a card, and every draw pings any target - so the deck's core loop is chaining cheap spells to convert card draw into damage. Teferi's Ageless Insight doubles those draws, Psychosis Crawler converts them into life loss, and Guttersnipe adds a second damage source per spell. The deck wins through accumulated Parun/Psychosis Crawler pings, a Prismari, the Inspiration storm turn, or a Laboratory Maniac draw-out. The shell is draw-go control with seven counterspells and a deep instant-speed interaction suite, backed by token payoffs (Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic, Improbable Alliance) and The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell's transform finisher.
