Deck overview

This deck is a Naya +1/+1 counters and direct-damage strategy led by Shalai and Hallar. The deck's primary win condition is a compact machine-gun combo: granting Shalai and Hallar lifelink (via Spirit Link, Sheltered by Ghosts, or Splendor Mare) while controlling a creature that gains +1/+1 counters on lifegain (such as Ajani's Pridemate, Trelasarra, Moon Dancer, or Leonardo, Cutting Edge). When any counter is placed, Shalai and Hallar deals damage to an opponent, lifelink causes life gain, and the engine creature receives another counter, looping until all opponents are eliminated. Beyond the combo, the deck features strong midrange backup through cards like All Will Be One, Cathars' Crusade, Court of Garenbrig, and Kodama of the West Tree, turning wide boards of modified creatures into massive combat and burn damage. With reliable low-curve ramp, targeted tutors, and one-sided sweepers like Damning Verdict, the deck maintains steady pressure across all stages of the game.
