Deck overview

This mono-red aggressive deck harnesses Ilharg, the Raze-Boar to bypass mana costs and deploy colossal creatures directly into combat. By leveraging haste enablers, mana ramp, and rummage effects, the deck reliably deploys Ilharg on turn 4 and attacks on turn 5. The cheat trigger puts catastrophic threats like Balefire Dragon, Avatar of Slaughter, and Port Razer directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Cheated creatures return safely to hand at the end step, preserving card advantage and allowing repeated triggers each turn. A dense suite of extra-combat spells—including an infinite damage loop with Aggravated Assault and Neheb, the Eternal—accelerates the clock to finish opponents by turn 6. Redirection spells and anti-blue countermagic provide critical plan shielding against targeted removal.
