Deck overview

This is a midrange Sultai Elf value deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The plan mills, discards, and trades Elves into the graveyard so the commander inherits their activated abilities (mana dorks, pumps, utility taps), while his legendary-Elf trigger loots through the deck. The 99 backs this with Elf tribal bodies, landfall token makers like Thranduil, Sindarin Liege, efficient reanimation (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Victimize), and a late Rise of the Dark Realms haymaker. Primary wins are combat attrition backed by drains from Ayara, First of Locthwain and Nadier's Nightblade, not infinite combos. Necropotence, Six, and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds supply the card flow and mana to keep rebuilding. The deck plays as a grindy graveyard-fueled Elf midrange pile that turns the bin into a second hand and a second toolbox of activated abilities.
