4.9 Beyond the Grave by user9883659

Format: Commander

Commander: Karador, Ghost Chieftain

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a classic Karador, Ghost Chieftain graveyard value deck. The primary plan is to aggressively self-mill from turn one via creatures like Stitcher's Supplier, Satyr Wayfinder, and Golgari Grave-Troll, filling the graveyard both to reduce Karador's cost and to stock a recursion toolkit. Once Karador is on the battlefield, the deck reuses a creature from the graveyard every turn, generating incremental advantage through death-trigger draw (Midnight Reaper, Grim Haruspex), removal (Ravenous Chupacabra, Shriekmaw), and ramp (Sakura-Tribe Elder, Wood Elves). The finishers are combat-oriented: Avenger of Zendikar plus repeated land drops, Moonshaker Cavalry for a massive overrun, or a game-ending Living Death that reanimates a full board. The deck lacks infinite combos and instead grinds opponents out through card advantage and board presence.
