Commander: The Reaper, King No More

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Reaper, King No More leads a Jund -1/-1 counter value deck. Hidden commander Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons turns every counter into Snake tokens; Nest of Scarabs, Flourishing Defenses, and Blowfly Infestation compound the effect. Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and The Scorpion God convert those tokens into cards, while Warren Soultrader/Gravecrawler/Blood Artist-style drains end the game. The Reaper is a supplementary theft/recursion engine rather than the deck's core. Win lines are compact and recursive, with Persist and Aberrant Return offering recovery after wipes. The deck is midrange, grinding out card advantage and tokens before deploying an infinite combo or an enormous Quillspike.
