Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire Tribal build commanded by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The primary game plan revolves around generating Blood tokens through consistent early-game life loss and utilizing Strefan's attack trigger to cheat high-mana Vampire threats directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. By circumventing typical mana costs on bombs like Necropolis Regent, Olivia's Attendants, and Butcher of Malakir, the deck rapidly establishes an overwhelming, evasive aerial army that doubles its power through combat. Secondary synergies leverage Blood tokens as sacrifice fodder and looting outlets, fueling powerful reanimation spells such as Victimize, Reanimate, and Lich-Knights' Conquest to recur fallen threats. The list also features an incidental two-card infinite drain combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Marauding Blight-Priest to instantly close games. While the deck boasts high combat pressure, board recovery, and asymmetric removal like Olivia's Wrath, its lack of stack interaction and reliance on combat leave it vulnerable to well-timed pre-combat spot removal and mass exile wipes.
