Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated exhibition tribal deck commanded by Ruxa, Patient Professor. It embraces a strict theme of creature cards with no abilities, transforming iconic vanilla beaters like Grizzly Bears, Leatherback Baloth, and Gigantosaurus into unblockable combat threats. The game plan focuses on curving out efficient stat monsters on turns one through three, resolving Ruxa on turn four, and using power-based draw engines like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Packleader to maintain hand size. Damage doublers and stat buffs such as Unnatural Growth, Muraganda Petroglyphs, and Beastmaster Ascension accelerate the clock. Because Ruxa allows ability-less creatures to assign combat damage as though they were not blocked, opponents cannot stop incoming damage with chump blockers. However, the deck sacrifices interaction, stack protection, and stax in favor of thematic purity, leaving it vulnerable to opposing combo wins and sweepers.
