Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck uses Lathliss, Dragon Queen to build overwhelming aerial board states. The strategy accelerates through 2- and 3-mana artifacts and tribal cost reducers to cast Lathliss ahead of curve, then floods the battlefield with 5/5 flying Dragon tokens whenever subsequent Dragon spells resolve. Synergy pieces like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Warstorm Surge convert new entries into immediate direct damage, while bomb threats like Utvara Hellkite and Terror of Mount Velus quickly turn token swarms into lethal combat steps. The deck controls the board with asymmetric sweepers such as Breath Weapon and Magmaquake, which clear opposing ground armies while leaving flying Dragons untouched. Its primary vulnerabilities stem from a total absence of stack interaction, prolonged exposure to board wipes, and a lack of enchantment removal.
