[cEDH] He wields the Foe-Hammer! The Beater, bright as daylight! by cgeez

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a fast Rakdos Goblin combo deck built around The Great Goblin as a damage and card-advantage engine rather than a required combo piece. Its primary plan is a turn-3-ish one-shot: Goblin Recruiter sets up Conspicuous Snoop + Kiki-Jiki, or First Day of Class combines with a persist Goblin and Goblin Bombardment/Skirk Prospector for infinite pings and mana. Secondary lines use Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond to loop Wheel of Fortune/Jeska's Will, and Agatha's Soul Cauldron to turn a countered creature into Kiki-Jiki. The Great Goblin's death trigger buys cards and its counter trigger ends the game once persist loops start. The deck is low to the ground, heavy on fast mana and tutors, and vulnerable to graveyard hate.
