Deck overview

This is a mono-black storm-combo deck helmed by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, built to convert life into black mana and chain a critical mass of Shadowborn Apostles into game-ending Demons. The core engine pairs Thrumming Stone with 24 Apostles: ripple 4 casts the entire swarm for free, and sacrificing six at a time tutors Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Vilis, Broker of Blood. From there, Aetherflux Reservoir and Bolas's Citadel turn the life-payment engine into a storm kill. Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, and Yawgmoth's Will provide the draw and graveyard fuel to keep the chain going. The deck is an all-in, low-curve (2.03 MV) race: assemble the Apostle engine, spin the storm, and dome the table. It has no stack interaction to speak of, so it wins by being faster than the table rather than by stopping anyone else.
