Deck overview

This deck pairs The Sixth Doctor and Romana II to overwhelm opponents by duplicating high-impact historic spells and creature tokens. Early turns focus on establishing mana through dense two-mana artifacts and land ramp. On turns 4 to 5, the deck deploys its commanders alongside potent token multipliers like Doubling Season, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Anointed Procession. Once the engine is operational, casting any historic bomb—such as Blightsteel Colossus, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, or Auton Soldier—triggers The Sixth Doctor to create non-legendary token copies, which are further duplicated by the supporting enchantments and Romana II. The deck converts this sudden exponential board presence into a lethal combat assault on turn 7. While vulnerable to stack interaction and sweepers due to a lack of counterspells, its dense threat redundancy and independent companion lines provide strong mid-game resilience.
