Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck maximizes power-to-mana efficiency to deploy its 12/12 commander, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. The primary strategy opens with 1-mana mana dorks into undercosted, high-stat creatures like Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull. Once total power on the battlefield reaches 10 or more, Ghalta enters at a massive discount. The deck leverages power-based card draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise to replenish its hand while maintaining board dominance. Combat finishers including Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth amplify the deck's already massive creatures to trample over blockers and eliminate opponents across consecutive combat steps. While vulnerable to repeated creature sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck recovers quickly through redundant high-power threats.
