Commander: Wick, the Whorled Mind

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis "big burn" deck built around Wick, the Whorled Mind, leveraging Rat tribal triggers to grow a Snail token and then sacrificing it for huge damage and card advantage. The deck marries this central loop with a heavy Equipment subtheme that can alternatively power up the commander or any creature for one-shot kills via pump spells and damage doublers. Primary win conditions are the commander's activated ability aimed at all opponents after pumping the Snail, supplemented by voltron commander damage with double strike or direct burn spells like Soul's Fire and Essence Harvest. The deck lacks a fast combo finish and instead aims to build incremental advantage before dealing a decisive burst of damage, often requiring multiple turns to eliminate the table.
