Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red artifact reanimation and resource-denial midrange deck commanded by Daretti, Scrap Savant. The primary game plan revolves around using Daretti's looting ability to discard high-cost, high-impact artifacts early, then using his -2 loyalty ability or alternate recursion spells to cheat them directly onto the battlefield ahead of curve. The deck stabilizes the board and controls opponents through potent asymmetric stax pieces such as Blood Moon, Price of Glory, and Defense Grid, backed by devastating sweepers like Blasphemous Act, Nevinyrral's Disk, and Decree of Annihilation. Once the board is locked down or protected by Darksteel Forge, the deck overwhelms the table through massive artifact threats including Myr Battlesphere, Wurmcoil Engine, Blightsteel Colossus, and Hellkite Igniter, supplemented by direct damage from Bosh, Iron Golem. It achieves consistent mid-game dominance through strong artifact synergies and resilient graveyard loops.
