Deck overview

This is a +1/+1 counters and proliferate deck helmed by Animar, Soul of Elements, built to snowball incrementally into massive, trampling threats. Animar's cost reduction scales with the counters he accumulates, making each creature spell cheaper as the board grows. The primary plan is to deploy early mana dorks, resolve Animar, then chain cheap creatures, counter doublers, and proliferate effects to turn a single hydra or Eldrazi into a game-ending threat. The deck wins through combat damage-typically after a single Kalonian Hydra attack or a Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider-fueled overrun. Proliferate engines like Evolution Sage, Flux Channeler, and Inexorable Tide keep the counters rolling while cards like Herald of Secret Streams punch through blockers. Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger provides an alternate inevitability path. The deck plays as a tempo-value engine that becomes nearly unstoppable once its counter-doubling and proliferate loops are active.
