Format: Commander

Commander: Éowyn, Shieldmaiden

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Eowyn, Shieldmaiden is the engine of a Jeskai Human token deck that wins by going wide and then layering double-strike and power anthems over a swarm of hasty Knights. The primary plan is to cast a second Human before the first combat step, let Eowyn create two trampling hasty tokens, then repeat and draw with six or more Humans. Secondary paths include Forth Eorlingas for a burst of tokens, Combat Celebrant for an extra combat, and horsemanship from Herald of Hoofbeats to make Knight tokens unblockable. The deck has no hidden commander; it is built directly around Eowyn's trigger while retaining a functional Human-matters beatdown plan even if she is unavailable.
