Deck overview

The Reaper, King No More leads a synergistic Jund Aristocrats deck that weaponizes -1/-1 counters and creature sacrifice. The deck builds mana velocity through efficient low-CMC ramp before deploying token-generating engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. These tokens feed card advantage engines like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and life-draining outlets like Blood Artist and Obelisk Spider. The primary win path utilizes infinite death loops: pairing Blowfly Infestation with Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and a drain piece, recurring Gravecrawler with Warren Soultrader, or sacrificing Protean Hulk to tutor the entire win package onto the board simultaneously. The deck controls opposing battlefields using Maha, Its Feathers Night, Carnifex Demon, and spot removal while stealing fallen opposing creatures with The Reaper, King No More and Necroskitter. While vulnerable to countermagic and graveyard hate, the deck boasts high redundancy and rapid same-turn finishes.
