Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck executes a focused Poison and Proliferate midrange strategy. It establishes early poison counters across all three opponents using cheap infect creatures, unblockable attackers, and global spell effects like Ichor Rats and Prologue to Phyresis. Once opponents are poisoned, the deck deploys Atraxa alongside compounding proliferate engines such as Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Bloated Contaminator, and Evolution Sage. This engine steadily ticks up poison counters without needing to win through traditional combat damage. Defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Propaganda combine with Teferi, Time Raveler to deter aggressive swings and prevent instant-speed disruption. The deck protects its board state using efficient answers such as Flawless Maneuver and Heroic Intervention. Because poison kills at ten counters and bypasses 40-life totals, the deck reliably closes out games against all three opponents simultaneously by Turn 7.
