Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Spellslinger and Wizard burn deck commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost Wizard creatures and generating 0/1 Wizard tokens with Kuja's end-step trigger. Once you control four Wizards, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, which doubles all damage dealt by your Wizards. You then chain low-cost noncreature spells, cantrips, and targeted removal to trigger massive, table-wide damage from your Wizards and standalone pingers like Guttersnipe and Black Waltz No. 3. The deck runs a robust suite of creature and artifact removal, along with steady impulse and card-draw spells to maintain velocity. Because it relies heavily on creature tokens and fragile pingers without built-in ward or countermagic protection, careful timing and board management are essential to survive opposing sweepers and close the game.
