Commander: Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-red deck is helmed by Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, a commander that creates hasty token copies of your creatures. The primary game plan is to accelerate into a critical mass of mana via rituals and rocks, then deploy Orthion alongside combo pieces like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts or Combat Celebrant + copy effects to generate infinite combats or infinite creature tokens. The deck also leverages token synergies with Redoubled Stormsinger, Determined Iteration, and Terror of the Peaks to close out games through overwhelming combat damage. With a dense ritual package and a handful of tutors, it aims to win explosively around turns 4-5.
