Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Hydra Stompy list commanded by Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana on the earliest turns to deploy Selvala alongside high-power creatures, turning her tap ability into a massive mana ritual. With this surplus mana, the deck casts enormous X-cost Hydras such as Primordial Hydra, Voracious Hydra, and Goldvein Hydra, while leveraging counter multipliers like Hardened Scales, Loading Zone, and Kalonian Hydra to rapidly inflate board power. The deck converts its immense physical presence into lethal attacks via built-in trample and global evasion enablers like Primal Rage and Ghalta the Unstoppable. While it lacks infinite combos and stack interaction, it generates rapid, high-impact combat pressure supported by efficient spot protection spells and scalable power-based card draw.
