Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal midrange strategy led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The deck leverages Doom's combat ability to grant menace and connive each turn, filtering through the library, growing attackers, and passively burning opponents whenever lands are discarded. The creature package is packed with high-synergy Villains that generate tokens, grow the team, or duplicate threats, including Madame Hydra, Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, and Ultron, Unlimited. The deck operates smoothly on curve, using 2-cost mana rocks and card-draw spells to build toward impactful Turn 6 and Turn 7 finishers like The Squadron Sinister and Living Laser. While the deck possesses flexible removal and sweeper options in Toxic Deluge and Chaos Warp, it carries very little countermagic or plan shielding, leaving its board open to timely wipes. Victory is achieved through persistent combat evasion and recurring discard life loss over two table rotations.
