Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul Stompy and Burn strategy powered by Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes. The game plan revolves around accelerating into the commander on Turn 3, immediately growing the legendary Hamster token Boo into an aggressive trampling threat. In subsequent turns, the deck leverages counter doublers such as Branching Evolution and burst pump spells like Berserk and Unleash Fury to scale Boo into lethal power ranges. Minsc's -2 loyalty ability functions as both an executioner and an immense card-advantage engine, throwing high-power creatures directly at opponents' life totals while drawing matching quantities of cards. Redundant fling effects and mass-burn spells such as Chandra's Ignition allow the deck to bypass traditional combat stalemates and eliminate the table across Turn 5 and Turn 6. While vulnerable to planeswalker hate and aerial combat pressure, its raw damage output and burst draw provide exceptional momentum.
