Fire Lord Azula by Brellington

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Fire Lord Azula as a spell-copy engine. When Azula attacks she adds {R}{R} and copies every instant or sorcery you cast while attacking, turning cheap cantrips and rituals into mana and card advantage. The primary plan is to attack with Azula and loop Frantic Search, Snap and Narset's Reversal with Dualcaster Mage and Storm-Kiln Artist to make infinite Treasures and mana, then finish with Comet Storm. The secondary, faster path is Demonic Consultation plus Thassa's Oracle, which wins without Azula. Storm-Kiln Artist acts as a hidden commander for the treasure loop, while Ashling and Veyran amplify magecraft triggers.
