Deck overview

This deck is a competitive mono-red stax and combo-burn strategy commanded by Imodane, the Pyrohammer. The game plan revolves around early disruptive permanents like Trinisphere, Blood Moon, Winter Orb, Torpor Orb, and Cursed Totem deployed on turns 1 to 3 using fast mana and rituals. These stax pieces paralyze opposing competitive combo lines and lock down multi-color manabases. The deck breaks parity using 24 basic Snow-Covered Mountains and burst mana. Once the table is constrained, the deck deploys Imodane alongside damage-doubling permanents such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus or Furnace of Rath. Casting single-target burn spells like Shivan Meteor deals multiplied damage to a creature, which Imodane copies and deals to every opponent, multiplying the damage a second time to wipe out all three opponents in a single burst on Turn 4.
