Deck overview

This Rakdos deck focuses on forced combat and group slug strategies, led by Xantcha, Sleeper Agent. Early turns establish acceleration and pass aggressive threats like Xantcha and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos to opponents. These creatures force players to attack one another while generating card advantage and steadily draining life totals. Mid-game enchantments like Descent into Avernus and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus accelerate the pace of damage across the table. Pillowfort and redirect tools like No Mercy, Silent Arbiter, Imp's Mischief, and Return the Favor deter retaliatory attacks and protect key permanents. Once life totals are depleted, the deck converts burst mana from Neheb, the Eternal or Mana Geyser into table-ending finishers such as Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Blasphemous Act paired with Repercussion.
