This Dimir deck combines a high-velocity reanimator strategy with a versatile clone engine led by Taskmaster, Mercenary Mimic. The game plan focuses on discarding or entombing massive game-ending threats, such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Consecrated Sphinx, and reanimating them ahead of curve using spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead or copying them with Taskmaster.
