Deck overview

This is a Treefolk tribal deck helmed by Doran, Besieged by Time, pairing high-toughness beatdown with a lands-matter subtheme. The commander discounts every creature spell whose toughness exceeds its power and pumps each attacker by the power/toughness gap, turning the tribe's oversized butts into lethal swings. Doran, the Siege Tower in the 99 makes toughness count for damage outright, while Fangorn, Tree Shepherd, Timber Protector, and Yedora, Grave Gardener form a resilient core. The deck wins through combat: Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, or Akroma's Will convert a wide board of Treefolk into an overrun. A dense protection suite (Heroic Intervention, Asceticism, Timber Protector's indestructible) and mass recursion (Eerie Ultimatum, Wrenn and Seven) make it hard to disrupt. It is a midrange value deck that grinds to critical mass, then finishes in one swing.
