Deck overview

This Atraxa poison deck wins by giving opponents poison counters and then growing them with proliferate. Early toxic and infect creatures like Blighted Agent and Ichor Rats seed the first counters, while Atraxa provides a free proliferate each end step. The deck does not rely solely on Atraxa; Inexorable Tide, Evolution Sage, Contagion Engine, and Karn's Bastion provide redundant proliferate. You can turn any threat lethal with Grafted Exoskeleton, Corrupted Conscience, or Phyresis, and you can close games with Triumph of the Hordes for a team-wide infect attack. Ixhel and Vraska generate card advantage and offer an alternate poison finish when combat stalls.
